Hosted by Turkish Cargo at SmartIST, the event brought together selected customers as well as key stakeholders from Turkish Cargo, Turkish Technic, and Turkish Technology, creating a platform that united the aviation logistics ecosystem. During the event, the scope and value proposition of TK Aero—developed in line with the aviation sector’s growing time sensitivity and operational requirements—were shared with participants.
Focused on the transportation of critical aviation equipment such as aircraft engines, helicopters, spare parts, UAVs, and similar high-value components, TK Aero offers an end-to-end, digitally enabled, and engineering-supported logistics approach. The product is structured under two main service lines: TK Aero Spare, covering planned maintenance and routine aviation shipments, and TK Aero Advanced, specially configured for aircraft and helicopter engines. In addition, time-critical AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments are managed within the TK Aero framework through dedicated procedures and priority handling.
Speaking at the event, Ali Türk, Senior Vice President of Cargo at Turkish Airlines, highlighted Turkish Cargo’s strong position in the global air cargo market, noting that the company maintained its third-place ranking worldwide by freight tonne kilometers in the first nine months of 2025. He emphasized that this achievement reflects the organization’s agile structure, effective capacity management, and strong partnerships, adding that TK Aero represents a key milestone in Turkish Cargo’s vision to deliver specialized, value-added solutions for the aviation industry. Türk also noted that, as of 2026, the cargo fleet has reached 28 aircraft, reaffirming the company’s commitment to its global leadership ambitions through sustainability- and efficiency-driven investments.
With the launch of TK Aero, Turkish Cargo reinforces its strategy of specialization in aviation logistics and its growth approach through industry-specific solutions, while continuing to shape this journey together with its customers and partners in the period ahead.

Turkish Cargo, the global air cargo brand of Turkish Airlines, brought together its business partners and agencies operating across Türkiye at the 15th edition of its Agency Awards Ceremony. The awards ceremony, hosted by Turkish Cargo in Istanbul, was attended by Turkish Airlines Chief Cargo Officer Ali Türk, Turkish Technology CEO Serdar Gürbüz, and industry stakeholders. During his speech at the ceremony, Turkish Airlines Chief Cargo Officer Ali Türk stated:
“At a time when global trade and logistics flows are being reshaped, Turkish Cargo continues to position itself at the center of this transformation with its strong infrastructure and extensive flight network. We sustain the performance we deliver not only through our expert workforce and advanced technological infrastructure, but also through the close collaboration model we have established with our stakeholders. In this direction, while planning our infrastructure and digital transformation investments, we focus on strengthening the operational efficiency of our business partners in the field. Our renewed corporate website is also an important step within this approach, bringing planning, reservation, and tracking processes together at a single point to provide a faster and more predictable operational experience.
As Turkish Cargo, we place great importance on directly sharing and jointly developing the solutions we implement together with our business partners. Therefore, coming together through this awards ceremony is extremely valuable for us. We would like to thank all our agencies for their contributions and hope that our collaboration will continue to grow even stronger in the coming period.”
